Role & Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning
Conduct business and market analysis to establish the annual strategic business plan. Define clear, quantifiable goals for sales growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency. Analyze historical sales data, customer feedback, and operational performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Develop a roadmap with specific milestones for sales, marketing and operational tasks, assigning responsibilities and timelines. Define specific, measurable goals for sales growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency based on analysis findings. Monitor progress regularly and adjust timelines or resource allocation as needed to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Identify target markets and customer segments for promotional campaigns using market research. Implement campaign themes and messages with the marketing team, focusing on differentiating your offerings. Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies based on customer response.
Gather feedback from customers and team to identify market needs and product gaps. Collaborate with the Medical teams to develop or modify products that meet market demands. Plan roadmaps and promote the new products / services, and use feedback to make necessary adjustments.
Review current business policies for gaps or inefficiencies and draft new policies or revisions for key stakeholders.
Communicate the finalized plans to all relevant teams and stakeholders through presentations and meetings.
Operational Management
Develop a comprehensive dashboard that aggregates key operational metrics, such as sales performance, quality and customer satisfaction scores. Review dashboard and implement reporting system to monitor key operational metrics.
Schedule regular check-ins with operational managers to review performance against forecasts. Adjust operational strategies based on performance data and external market conditions. Provide guidance and support to managers in implementing strategies and addressing performance gaps.
Performance Management
Establish business goals for all zones. Use sales / LIMS software to track progress and generate reports. Review performance data regularly with zone managers to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Hold regular review meetings to discuss performance and adjust goals as needed. Identify root causes of performance issues and develop action plans to address them. Provide coaching and support to zone managers to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Customer Relationship Management
Implement a Sales CRM system to track all sales interactions and history. Train sales teams on how to use the CRM system effectively to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
Organize regular customer engagement events, such as webinars, Doc Talk, RTM, CME, trade shows and workshops.
Personalize communication and follow-ups to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Segment customers based on their preferences, transaction history, and communication preferences to tailor messages and offers.
Financial Management
Create and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the Zone. Develop a comprehensive annual sales and marketing budget with detailed allocations for each zone. Allocate budgetary resources strategically to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Conduct monthly financial reviews to analyze variances between actual and budgeted performance. Identify root causes of financial variances and develop action plans to address them. Implement corrective measures promptly to address any adverse financial trends.
Training and Development
Identify skill gaps and training needs through regular review of ASK. Develop and implement a comprehensive training calendar that includes both on-the-job training and formal learning opportunities, such as workshops, and online courses. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts or external trainers to deliver specialized training sessions on relevant topics.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments based on employee feedback and performance improvements.
Compliance
Conduct regular audits and identify any non-compliance issues or areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to address them.
Establish compliance by integrating regulatory requirements into daily operations.
Business Analytics
Regularly collect and analyze business data to identify inefficiencies or gaps. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and facilitate decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for process improvements, product enhancements, and business strategies. Use data insights to fine-tune processes and introduce new business solutions.
