Description :
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing human resource activities within the company across all three locations. This specialist performs HR-related duties on a professional level carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas : Onboarding / Offboarding, HRIS management, HR reporting, Employee relations, Recruiting, Performance management, Payroll and Compliance.
- Recruitment : Oversees & conducts all recruiting activities, included but not limited to creating job descriptions, pre-employment requirements, managing posting sites, interviewing & selection
- Manage relationships with external vendors and temp agencies
- Onboarding : Managing the onboarding process of new employees to ensure a positive transition into their new teams
- Collaborating with departments and management on the creation of training schedules
- Employee Relations : Being available and willing to answer employee questions & assist with employee issues at all times
- Investigating and resolving employee relations issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Company Culture : Being a driver of the culture, and constantly capitalizing on opportunities to teach, train and develop associates and leaders
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and facilitating employee relations events : including but not limited to, quarterly company outings, Employee Appreciation Week and Holiday Party
- Performance Management : Facilitates annual employee evaluation procedures by setting forth timelines and providing guidance to management
- Facilitates and monitors KPI metrics for all departments to ensure standards are fair, appropriate and attainable
- Payroll : Manage and oversee bi-weekly payroll processing
- HR Reporting : Manage unemployment claims, ACA Reporting, FMLA, Worker's Comp, benefits administration, etc.
- Accurately administer workers' compensation reporting, investigations, and follow up
- HRIS Management : Responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of employee information in the company's system, included but not limited to new hires, terminations, changes to status / pay rates and other information as required
- Compliance : Maintain legal compliance at all times and ensure the team is up-to-date with evolving legislation and compliance
- Ensure proper safety training through monitoring safety and health training checklists
- Benefit Administration : Facilitating and coordinating annual benefit enrollment & ongoing new hire benefit enrollment
