JOB SUMMARY
The VM Production Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts that inspire and captivate the consumer while creating a consistent brand representation.
Reporting to the VM Manager, the VM Production Designer will focus on the global creative for all in-store and event graphics . This role is ideal for a highly creative and detail-oriented designer who thrives on storytelling through visuals and delivering impactful designs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the brand's creative presence, ensuring consistency and innovation in every VM project. This individual must be a self-starter with deep knowledge of print production and installation processes to deliver solutions from concept to execution. They must also have a keen understanding of the importance of in-store Communication and how to tailor messaging for various consumer profiles.
Strong understanding of composition and layout principles, plus the communication skills needed to work well with colleagues. Experience in beauty is a must. Strong typographic and layout skills; a keen eye for detail, exceptional visual storytelling skills, and a passion for beauty and design; and outstanding organizational, project management, and file-organization are a must.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead VM production in supporting design and development to ensure seamless execution across touchpoints
- Organize and prepare files for final artwork release to vendors
- Creatively solve layout challenges while remaining on brand
- Translate and adapt existing designs to different fixture formats and sizes
- Ensure brand design standards are upheld across all touch points
- Collaborate closely with the VM Manager and Art Director to develop design solutions across multiple fixtures
- Translate marketing & creative briefs into visually compelling assets that drive engagement and support business objectives
- Build upon our current design while adhering to the Dr Dennis Gross brand standards
- Produce new concepts, develop reference materials, pull swipe, and provide creative input across image concept development
- Work with Senior Creative Leadership to refine concept work across all creative elements
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
