Job Title: Dental Assistant - Hygiene
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will support Dr. Doug in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring a fun, comfortable and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene cleanings & assist the Dentist in exams
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office
- Creating a fun, easy-going environment for patients & their families
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in using dental software a plus, but not required
