We are seeking an experienced International Sales and Transportation Manager to join our team and grow our Dr. Elsey’s business throughout the world.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while managing all existing export accounts. You need to be able to get new international customers to sell our products to and then get them our products.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of international sales and supply chain management. You will also possess knowledge of basic warehouse procedures as well as legal regulations and paperwork involved with US export shipping.
Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring that our shipments are promptly scheduled, safely handled and successfully delivered.
Responsibilities
The annual salary for this role will be $40,000 for an expected 20 hours of work each week.

Responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts by planning and supervising the shipments from US production through delivery to international distributor partners
- Monitor, research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods
- Ensure shipping documents are properly completed and filed
- Request necessary export documents from manufacturing partners
- Comply with all company policies and shipping legislation
- Drive new business growth abroad through independent networking and pioneering as well as capitalizing on all leads from trade shows and the home office
- Participate in multiple international and domestic (US) trade shows each year. Manage registration, staffing, booth set up/tear down and all aspects of trade shows
- Maintain ethical practices and professional standards at all times
- Highly self-motivated with a positive outlook and attitude
- Proven work experience as a Transportation/Sales Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management and experience preparing and tracking shipments
- Exceptional selling and overall personal communication skills
- Excellent organizational. time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma (Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant field is a plus)
