As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient service within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Record vital signs during patient interactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
- Collect and process samples from patients, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient management.
- Help Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of new testing methods and protocols to improve laboratory efficiency.
- Provide exceptional patient service by communicating effectively with patients regarding procedures and results.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and emergency medicine.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Pediatric practice environments.
- Ability to work effectively within electronic medical records.
- Document vital signs and understanding their significance in patient assessment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent patient service and collaboration with medical staff.
- Previous experience working in Pediatrics setting is a plus but not mandatory.
