We are looking for an optometric tech for our downtown Pensacola office. We are deeply committed to excellence in patient care, and are looking for an associate that shares our passion for excellence and has great customer service skills and is a team player for our high patient volume clinic.
Optometric technician performs a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in routine and medical eye examinations. They record patient medical histories and help prepare the patient for the vision examination. They also assist with tests that help ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a diseased eye such as taking optomap photos, tonometry, visual field, and optical coherence tomography. Assisting first time contact lens wearer by teaching the patient how to insert and remove lenses. Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.
Need good computer skills for use with electronic medical records - RevolutionEHR. Must be detail oriented, accurate, and time efficient. Optometry office setting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are open Monday-Friday 8-5.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
