Regulatory Assistant
Basic Purpose
Regulatory Assistant assists with all aspects of the process including generation and maintenance of regulatory submissions, archiving and recordkeeping. With direction, coordinates, complies, reviews and prepares document packages for high quality regulatory submissions. To ensure quality and compliance the administrative work must be executed accurately. Supporting various departments with various duties to include special projects and meeting coordination.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage all internal inspections and audits for compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and other regulations
- Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions (document formatting, document collection)
- Prepare documents and reports as required by/for various regulatory and certification agencies
- Assist with compliance with Organic expectations
- Maintain detailed records of formulas, production operations, raw material inventory, etc.
- Coordinate all Micro samples to be transported to Micro Quality lab and await the report
- Work side by side with the Warehouse Supervisor to schedule manufacturing and filling. Complete and accurate record keeping of all steps
- Assist with QC laboratory procedures
- Support Marketing team with reports, data and various duties
- Overseas communication with all outside supplier to gather raw material data needed for formula validation, escalating request as necessary to ensure urgency is communicated
- Research and develop all raw material, product and testing and release process
- Assist with product development and record keeping
- Help with all validation activities for approved ingredients in formulas
- Analysis COAs manufacturing Certification
- Work side by side with Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager for production schedules.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required
Skills/Requirements:
- AA in Science or chemistry/ related field preferred
- 1 plus years of experience in function in the cosmetic/personal care industry required
- Strong analytical, communication, verbal, written and Microsoft Suite skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, is a team player; willing to complete special assignments on call when needed.
- Ability to work in a frequently interrupted, short-deadline environment while giving courteous support for customer’s immediate needs.
- Ability to read, write, spell; compose business letters, and use common business math applications. General office and accurate data entry skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
