Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cosmetic Surgery

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a cosmetic surgery office. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical knowledge and excellent communication skills, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. You would provide care as a PACU nurse and circulator nurse at least 2 days a week. You would additionally help with charting required data points and keeping up with state regulations for the office surgery requirements. Excellent organization and attention to detail is required.

Duties

perform EKGS, chart review to assess preparations for surgery, proficient in pacu care, and circulator nurse duties.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and managing patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the office
• Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and best practices in nursing.
• Be knowledgable in regards to state standards for AAAHC and board of medicine regulations for surgery offices/ surgery centers.
• Experience with prepping for credentialing of medical facilities and Florida state regulations and standards is a major plus. Otherwise, be open to learning

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and medical records management.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to upholding HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
