POSITION SUMMARY: This role is at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing product and process quality. Evaluate raw materials, conduct thorough audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with established standards and policies. Your insights and expertise will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of production and quality systems.
· Be a team player.
· Conduct quality assurance audits, including inspections, sampling, and testing of products.
· Perform quality system audits of production procedures.
· Inspect products for compliance with relevant standards and policies.
· Train and monitor mill staff on quality procedures and standards.
· Maintain effective communication with plant management.
· Report quality levels and nonconformances to LAM Supervisor, Production Manager, and COO.
· Providing verbal and written reports to management.
· Verbally report any unusual conditions to LAM Supervisor.
· Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
· 1-3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
· Must be self-motivated and able to perform assigned duties with little supervision.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Good analysis / problem solving skills.
· Proficient in MS Office
Guide, train and direct machine operators and laborers to ensure the highest quality product is achieved.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and able to push or pull up to 100 pounds. Regularly, the employee is required to go up and down stairs, stand and use hands to finger. Intermittently employee is required to handle or feel, pull/push and stoop, kneel, or crouch. This position requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position works in a loud inside environment. This position will regularly be working near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
