Optometric Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Optometric Technician with great people skills to join our team. The Optometric Technician will assist an optometrist by providing eye health testing such as glaucoma screening, eye pressure testing, visual fields, auto refraction, taking patient health information and dialoguing with the doctor. In addition, the technician would assist other departments with projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and gather medical history while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with billing and coding as needed.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout their visit, addressing any concerns.
• Ensure a clean environment in the office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
