Lead Dental Clinical Coordinator
(Registered Dental Assistant is required)
Job description:
We are looking for a Lead RDA to join our single doctor, fee-for-service practice.
This position includes a 4-day work week, 1 admin day, 3 clinical, full benefits (medical, dental, 401K) with room to advance within the practice.
This is not your typical Lead DA position!
We are looking for someone driven, with a desire for excellence and growth. We are seeking a true leader, who can help us develop our back office clinical flow, to increase production and patient experience.
Our ideal candidate will have leadership mentality, optimistic outlook, eager to learn and lead, collaborate with the doctor and team to improve existing systems, implement new systems and have overall vision and input for the direction of the practice.

Hours of operation:
- 7:45AM-4PM
- Administrative days: Mon
- Clinical days: Tue, Wed, Thurs
- Closed: Fri-Sun
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative work, implants, and Clear Correct orthodontic aligners.
- Deliver exceptional 5-star patient care, ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and overall oral health, aligning with our whole-body wellness philosophy.
- Manage dental supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sterilization of equipment and instruments
- Assisting the Dental Hygienist with x-rays, room set-up and tear down.
- Preliminary impressions, casts, molds & pouring up models (lab)
- Office inventory, supplies and stocking of materials, instruments, etc.
- Understand and communicate insurance information, particularly regarding out-of-network benefits, to help patients navigate their coverage and financial obligations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Open Dental software is a plus.
- Solid understanding of dental insurance, particularly out-of-network benefits, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients about their financial responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
