EXPERIENCED DENTAL ASSISTANT NEEDED

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Take dental X-rays as required and ensure proper handling of medical records.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing their concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental assisting required.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of medical coding is advantageous.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages, especially children.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant coursework is required.
