Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Lead Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Reporting to the Lead Technician, this position requires a proactive individual who takes full ownership of front office processes and consistently enhances efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Patient Interaction :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.
Answer phone calls, respond to text messages and emails, and handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Administrative Excellence :
Manage patient scheduling, verify insurance eligibility, and update demographic and insurance information with precision.
Oversee the accuracy of patient records and ensure timely follow-up on all tasks related to front office operations.
Ensure all intake forms are completed and uploaded into the patient management system prior to appointments.
Process Ownership :
Take initiative in refining front office workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing efficient solutions.
Collaborate with the team to align administrative practices with overall patient care goals.
Maintain responsibility for managing and resolving patient billing inquiries and escalating complex issues as necessary.
Team Collaboration :
Partner with the Lead Technician and clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Act as a resource for staff, providing guidance on administrative procedures and system navigation.
Technology and Systems :
Utilize patient management and communication systems, such as RevolutionEHR and Weave, to streamline operations.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry, task assignments, and document uploads to maintain organized records.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a medical receptionist or front office coordinator role preferred.
Associates Degree or higher preferred
Strong proficiency with patient management software (e.g., RevolutionEHR) and communication tools (e.g., Weave).
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own responsibilities with minimal supervision.
