Duties

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve clinical documentation practices.
- Conduct audits of medical records to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide education and training to staff on best practices for clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HEDIS measures and other regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with case management teams to support patient care initiatives.
- Utilize coding knowledge to assist in accurate billing processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical documentation standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in clinical documentation improvement or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with case management processes, particularly in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of HEDIS measures and primary care practices is advantageous.
- Experience working with a wide range of patient cases is a plus.
- Strong understanding of coding principles and practices.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically Practice Fusion, is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Background as a healthcare professional is beneficial.
