POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Intern will work to support the marketing team while obtaining real work experience in the various aspects of marketing to include : advertising, digital marketing, communications, project management, research analytics, and creative.
The primary learning objective is to gain an understanding how each area of marketing (i.e. media buying, project management, communication, etc.) function and work together to generate successful marketing strategies that support the art center's business goals, vision, mission and values.
The intern will help support the marketing team by :
- Researching marketing opportunities to reach target audiences for show marketing, education, and institutional brand awareness
- Identifying events and local businesses for street team promotions
- Analyzing data for performance recaps
- Contributing content ideas to the social media calendar
- Contributing to support sponsor fulfillment for marketing channels
- Supporting show marketing efforts as needed
- Supporting marketing invoice process as needed
Additionally, the Intern will have the opportunity to meet and shadow related departments at Dr. Phillips Center to learn and experience how these contribute to the overall operation of the business.
