We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with expertise in primary care and obesity medicine to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including health assessments, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized weight management plans for patients with obesity and metabolic disorders.
• Implement evidence-based obesity treatments, including lifestyle interventions, medication management, and weight-loss injections (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or other GLP-1 receptor agonists).
• Perform routine wellness exams, sick visits, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support overall health and weight management goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Conduct follow-ups to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing motivation and support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EMR systems.
Qualifications:
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Florida.
• Board certification in Family or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.
• Experience in primary care and obesity medicine is required.
• Strong knowledge of weight management protocols, pharmacologic interventions, and nutrition counseling.
• Experience with hormone replacement therapy, metabolic health, or wellness medicine is a plus.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
