Schedule
Position available for full or part time associate veterinarians
Opportunities for traditional in-clinic care and/or mobile veterinary care
Current hospital hours: Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm
40 minute in clinic appointment times and 1 hour house call appointments for each patient
Flexible, non-emergency schedules with a maximum of 10 appointments per day
Accompanied by at least 1 experienced veterinary nurse to every mobile visit

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
Responsibilities
Hybrid: Your typical day as a hybrid (in clinic and traveling) veterinarian will consist of house calls/travel appointments along with “in office” appointment/surgeries that are pre-arranged and planned out in an efficient way to minimize stress and complications.
Mobile: You will always have at least 1 veterinary nurse (if not 2) to travel along with to assist during appointments. They will also have the responsibility of keeping supplies/drugs stocked in vehicle, allowing you to focus purely on what you do best: providing excellent veterinary care, enjoying client interactions, and learning.
In-Clinic: A typical in-clinic day has 40 minute appointment scheduled for each patient allowing time to approach each patient and client in a way that they do not feel rushed. We focus on making the experience less stressful for everyone. There are 2 or more veterinary nurses in clinic helping to move appointments along during the day. Surgery days are usually blocked for an entire day with multiple surgeries.
Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials
Anticipated pay range is a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 plus production bonuses

Dr. Sam’s Veterinary House Calls is a progressive, growing, privately owned and operated veterinary practice that also offers mobile veterinary care. We are looking for a team-oriented, enthusiastic, small animal associate veterinarian who places a priority on helping to deliver high quality medicine to our patients and a positive relationship to our clients. Our small team-oriented practice focuses on low stress handling to the benefit of our patients, clients, and staff.
Dr. Sam’s Veterinary House Calls is a full-service veterinary practice with a standing clinic located in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown area) in eastern Pennsylvania. Our medical care encompasses everything from new puppy/kitten exams, to sick pets, to hospice care. We utilize a variety of portable diagnostic equipment, including mobile radiographs, mobile ultrasound, and portable cold therapy laser. Working in home allows us to foster close patient and client relationships, while our clinic allows us the option to see patients in clinic and to perform
surgeries and procedures.
