What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Guard #0128 position at DR Security, LLC?
This position will mitigate and prevent criminal behaviors and report information as needed to other guards and management. The security guard must be well-trained in dealing with those in mental crisis. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
The primary locations are in Oklahoma City, but other locations could be assigned for fill in or on a regular schedule in the greater metro area.
Responsibilities
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring access points, investigating incidents
- Submit complete and detailed reports as required, recording observations, information and occurrences throughout shift

Follow procedures specific to each location, building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors
- Monitor visitors as required by facility
- Monitor and authorize entrance of mental health patients

Provide assistance to people in need
- Search all patients entering the facility for weapons
- Secure patients' personal property
Skills
- Proven experience as security officer or guard, strong conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
- CLEET Licensed as an armed security guard
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
