About the Role :
Dr. Squatch is looking for a talented Business Systems Engineer to join our team to build and maintain integrations across our enterprise applications, primarily NetSuite and its connected platforms (iPaaS tools, EDI providers, marketplaces, 3PLs, and more). This role is critical in ensuring data flows efficiently and accurately between systems, supporting business operations, and enhancing our ability to scale.
You are a problem solver, an innovative thinker, and a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes, all while documenting best practices to improve
our team's knowledge and efficiency.
This role will report to the Associate Director of Business Systems.
This is a full-time role with company benefits likely to be based in Marina del Rey, CA, at Squatch HQ. Remote applicants will be considered on an exceptional basis.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $100,000 to $120,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do :
- Develop Maintain Integrations – Build, monitor, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise tools using iPaaS solutions (e.g., Celigo, Boomi) and direct API connections.
- Monitor & Troubleshoot – Analyze logs and data flows to identify bugs, determine root causes, and implement fixes to ensure seamless system performance.
- Write & Optimize Code – Develop scripts and small applications where native system features don't meet business needs, leveraging JavaScript, Python, SuiteScript, or similar languages.
- Document Train – Create technical documentation for integrations and configurations to support internal teams and enable future scalability.
- Collaborate & Innovate – Work with internal teams to brainstorm and implement new features, optimize existing workflows, and identify automation opportunities that reduce manual work and improve data integrity.
- Enhance System Performance – Proactively suggest and implement improvements to data quality, efficiency, and system reliability across our technology stack.
