Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and equipment, to ensure optimal functionality across all locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing efficient and high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with a small team to complete plumbing projects, ensuring all work aligns with Dr. Tavel’s quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Support other facility-related projects as needed, contributing to the overall maintenance and improvement of our locations.
- If the time the plumbing is not busy, contribute to other phases of construction including painting, construction prep and clean-up, cabinetry installation, finishing works, drywall, or other items as applicable. (will provide instruction)
- Proven experience as a plumber, with expertise in commercial plumbing systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid plumbing license or certification (preferred).
