Job Description: As an independent contractor with Dr. Tina Scott & Associates, you will deliver expert counseling services to our clients, helping them navigate through their mental health journeys. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling and requires a commitment to maintaining a minimum caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or groups based on clinical needs.
- Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 10 clients.
- Ensure documentation and client records are completed promptly per state regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed to coordinate client care.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards as set forth by governing bodies.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Pennsylvania.
- Proven track record of providing psychotherapy to a diverse client population.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Experience with modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or others.
- Additional certifications or training specific to mental health disorders.
