What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Scribe position at Dr. Vittone's office?
We are a very busy ophthalmology/optometry practices seeking a full time medical scribe. Our office is open Monday through Saturday. The hours range from 34-38 per week. The responsibilities of a scribe includes but not limited to typing in a patient's chart what the doctor says and assist with certain procedures. You will also put ophthalmic drops in patients eyes. You will do certain testing on the patients such as tear test, take patients pressures and more. You will be responsible for documenting on a paper chart and in EMR. Medical field experience is a plus.
