As an Operations Manager you will make sure the dental practice operations are geared towards patient Wellness32, satisfaction and safety. You will lead, mentor, and oversee Clinical Support Team Members (Dental and Administrative Assistants) of your practice location to ensure our provider team is properly supported. Below are the main duties our Operations Managers:
- Resolve patient issues/ complaints
- Record taking
- Travel between offices
- Generate patient goodwill by encouraging patients to provide feedback about their experience
- Oversee Safety Protocol Compliance (OSHA, Infection Control, etc.)
- Oversee and ensure Provider Team compliance of Quality Assurance protocols
- Ensure dental providers’ (dentists and hygienists) schedule is both productive and minimizes wait time
- Audit patient charts in order to collect accurate co-payments from patients.
- Oversee patient documentation (consent forms, medical releases, clinical progress notes, prescriptions, pre-med protocols, treatment plans ) is complete
- Provide Treatment Planning support due to changes in treatment and patient driven changes
- Optimize staff schedules to minimize overtime whenever possible and maximize coverage
- Ensure break times and mealtimes are taken in compliance with California labor laws.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of management experience (Dental experience preferred)
- Leadership/organizational experience in professional or personal life.
- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinking and Problem-solving capabilities
- Desire to lead others toward a common goal through mentorship
- Ability to learn and master new technologies
Nice to Have
- Dental Clinical Experience as Dental Assistant and/or X-ray tech.
- Bachelors or Associates College Degree in any subject
