Elementary Principals - Two Positions

The Dracut Public Schools is seeking two dynamic, growth mindset-oriented leaders to serve as elementary school principals. Applicants will be considered for both openings, with a final determination to be made for either the Englesby Elementary School or the Greenmont Avenue Elementary School. Leadership & Instructional Excellence: *Establishes shared vision, values, and goals in support of fostering a collaborative, professional culture focused on student learning. *Implements professional learning communities, Universal Design for Learning, and Understanding by Design frameworks. *Supports and retains high-quality educators, ensuring best practices in literacy and mathematics instruction. *Demonstrates expertise in Massachusetts Standards and supports teachers in implementation. *Uses multiple data sources for school assessment and improvement planning. *Integrates and models the use of new and emerging technologies. *Fosters high standards of teaching, learning, and staff accountability while providing necessary support. Family & Community Engagement: *Builds an inclusive school culture that welcomes diverse families and encourages their involvement *Communicates effectively with families regarding student learning and performance *Addresses family concerns proactively and effectively Management & Operations: *Ensures proper maintenance of school facilities and grounds. *Implements safety planning and crisis response measures. *Oversees budget management effectively.
