The Test Technician will:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and modifications of devices and subassemblies working from intricate mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, established repair and test procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
- Complete in a timely and accurate fashion all required production forms, test reports, customer documentation, departmental and other company documentation, using related SAP transactions and other data entry tools.
- Adhere to production schedules, key performance indicators, lead times, departmental and company goals.
- Assist in the resolution of technical issues. Provide information and feedback to supporting personnel for problem identification and resolution leading to product/process improvement.
- Contribute to service growth by offering ideas and techniques to build competence for repairs, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure optimal availability of customer devices.
- Participate in company sponsored training, continuous improvement, departmental training activity, and attend educational seminars as required.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
Education:
Associates Degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical field.
Related Experience:
2 years experience in an industrial service environment with a demonstrated proficiency at performing troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical devices.
Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Our US headquarters located north of Philadelphia in Telford, Pennsylvania is our US manufacturing site for our Neonatal product line supplying many global customers as well as production support for Draeger's Safety products. This location also serves as the key site for essential US functions which includes Medical Sales and Service Management, Medical Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality and Finance.
