DISHWASHER
The dishwasher is responsible for deep cleaning kitchen equipment such as stoves, hoods, grills, walk-ins, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
To perform this job successfully, the Dishwasher/Kitchen Worker/Kitchen Porter must be able to perform each of the essential job functions, as well as, the other requirements of this job satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)
- Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen.
- Sweep and mop ceramic floors on a rotating basis.
- Deep scrubbing tile floors and walk- ins.
- Buffing granite flooring.
- Other duties as assigned
- QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous work experience
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and written in English
- Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work
- Food Handler Certification required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License
