- Project Oversight: Monitor and supervise mechanical installation activities, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, codes, and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and coordination among teams.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work, identifying any issues and recommending solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and compliance reports.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on site.
- Testing and Commissioning: Participate in the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare progress reports for management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and necessary adjustments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years in the field) as a Mechanical Field Engineer, preferably in industrial or power plant projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and technologies is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant certifications.
