Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading warehouse staff and overseeing warehouse operations according to project and department standards
- Oversee, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Oversee the quality control and training of warehouse staff.
- Ensures procedures are being performed to improve quality, cost and cycle times
- Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment is operating safely and smoothly
- Identify and document logistic support deficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Assist in the procurement, tracking and receipt of materials/supplies/equipment
- Adhere to and manage the approved budget
- Inventory management and documentation. Record/track items and complete required reports, etc.
- Match packing slips to inventory items received
- Restock shelves as new products/supplies arrive
- Prepare items for delivery to the project site as applicable
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork lift, etc.) as needed
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
- Other duties as needed and as required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor or Manager is preferred.
- Prior experience in Logistics and/or Warehouse operations (including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory) is a plus
- Reliable and available/willing to work days, evenings and/or weekends per business needs.
- Able to quickly learn and demonstrate understanding of project warehouse operations.
- Able to work independently as well as effectively lead, motivate and oversee warehouse staff.
- Able to effectively delegate duties to appropriate warehouse staff and ensure that their work is performed according to project / department expectations.
- Able to maintain a professional disposition, even under pressure.

- Meticulous and detail oriented
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and readily able to learn company software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- May need to be certified to operate a forklift; Forklift Operator experience is preferred
- Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment is operating safely and smoothly
- Must be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs
- Active, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
