Job Description:
Dragonfly Energy is a leader in lithium-ion battery technology, developing innovative energy storage solutions for a variety of industries, including RV, marine, off-grid, and heavy-duty trucking. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales operations. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of inside sales experience, with a strong background in project management, organization, and CRM utilization. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is able to manage multiple projects, collaborate with various teams, and deliver exceptional sales results.
As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inside sales team, managing key customer relationships, ensuring the effective use of CRM tools, and supporting the growth and development of our sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
· Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Manage and oversee day-to-day sales operations, including lead generation, prospecting, and follow-ups.
· Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions, sales progress, and reporting.
· Coordinate and collaborate with the marketing, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
· Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and processes to optimize performance and achieve organizational goals.
· Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activity.
· Provide leadership in handling project timelines, customer issues, and sales support.
· Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and optimize team performance.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing customer needs and providing technical sales support where necessary.
· Ensure proper training and development for team members to foster continuous improvement in sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
· Experience: 5-7 years of experience in inside sales, project management, and CRM utilization. Experience managing and leading a sales team is highly preferred.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
· Proficient in CRM software (Monday, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Engineering, Customer Support, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
· Engineering or technical background in sales is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment and adapt to changing business needs.
