Dragonfly Playhouse is a fully licensed early education and care center in White Rock, NM. We are seeking a part-time Accreditation Specialist to be on site 15-18 hours per week on a six month (renewable) contract for the purposes of obtaining National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. Our hours of operation are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and scheduling options will be explored during the interview.
Required Qualifications:
The candidate will be organized and motivated with an earned Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field and one year of experience in an Early Childhood Growth and Development setting and at least 21 years of age.
Desired Qualifications:
The candidate should have the proven ability to:
- Utilize Google suite for the creation, revision, and maintenance of all accreditation documents with accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Prepare teachers for the timeline and all requisite processes and their roles in providing documentation for NAEYC accreditation in an organized and timely fashion
- Work with emergent early childhood teachers to provide guidance regarding lesson planning and implementation and share best practices in early childhood education to assist teachers in meeting their full potential and the internal deadlines associated with documenting teaching and learning outcomes
- Understand and implement a NAEYC accreditation timeline and collect and maintain all documentation of required teaching and learning outcomes by classroom and age level in collaboration with teachers for the purposes of obtaining initial accreditation
The candidate should have an earned NAC and ECE or CDA credential
Hourly rate begins at $25 per hour with potential increase based on education and experience and includes paid holidays, child care benefit, and PTO.
