Location: Charlotte, NC 28216
Pay: $18- $22 an hour- Full-time
Requirements
- Leadership: 1 year as a crew leader, supervisor, or foreman in a related industry.
- Experience: 2 years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or erosion control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
- Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
- Ability to work on slopes, near water, and in various weather conditions.
- Results-driven with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Mow, string trim, prune stormwater ponds.
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
- Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
- Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
- Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
- Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
- Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.
- Overnight travel within and to nearby States is required 25%-75% of the time.
Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:
- Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
- Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
- Backpack blowers and sprayers
- Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
