As the Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, and providing a seamless service to guests, all while adhering to the standards of an upscale modern lounge experience. - Prepare a wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and creativity. Ensure that each cocktail is made to order and delivered with impeccable presentation.
- Provide exceptional, attentive service at the bar and assist the cocktail service team with orders for each table
- Work seamlessly with team members to provide smooth, efficient service.
- Ensure that the bar is always stocked and that guests' needs are met promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking liquor and supplies, and ensuring all beverages are well-stocked and ready for service.
- Keep the bar area organized, clean, and visually appealing. Regularly clean glassware, tools, and equipment, ensuring a sanitary and professional environment at all times.
- Proactively suggest additional items or premium offerings to enhance the guest experience, such as rare spirits, specialty cocktails, or wine pairings.
- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal cocktails, special promotions, or unique drinks that reflect the restaurant's style and brand
- Work closely with team members to ensure that all service standards are consistently met and the guest service flows smoothly between the kitchen, dining room, and bar
- Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to all legal requirements related to alcohol service
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end, upscale, and high-energy venue. Previous experience as a service bartender or in a cocktail forward lounge is highly desirable
- A deep understanding of mixology techniques, cocktail construction, and drink presentation. Knowledge of both classic cocktails and modern trends is essential
- Strong understanding of wine and spirits, with the ability to offer expert advice on wine pairings and specialty cocktails
- A polished, professional appearance with an understanding of fine dining service standards and etiquette
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with fellow bartenders, team members, and managers
- TIPS certification or equivalent is required
- Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays and perform physical tasks during busy service periods
