Diagnostics Electrician

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in daily work activities: Complete JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) and work area exams prior to work execution.
- Perform preventative maintenance including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
- Safely complete routine and non-routine repairs and construction.
- Maintain strong knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of AC/DC drives, PLCs, overhead cranes, management control systems, calibration of field transmitters/transducers, pressure meters, temperature sensors, weigh scales, low and medium voltage equipment.
- Install and renovate equipment compliant with regulatory agency standards and current NEC Code.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work area instructions, participate in safety and environmental activities, and use plant and equipment correctly at all times.
- Utilize Meggers, Fluke 789, Fluke 744, Fluke 754, Addiel hand pumps and gauges, Hart 475 field communicator, Altek calibrator.
- Remove, repair, and install electrical components, analyze and diagnose, advance troubleshoot and optimize systems/processes; may mentor or train other electrical workers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5-10 years of experience in Construction, Mining and Metals, Heavy Industrial, or similar industries.
- Experience with Bruker instrument diagnostics.
- 2 years of facility and/or equipment general preventative maintenance experience.
- Experience with VFDs, PLC, HMI, and/or SCADA Control Systems.
- Experience working with low and medium voltages.
- Experience with AC and/or DC controls.
- Experience with instrumentation devices.
- Experience with diagnostic electrical test equipment.
- Experience with HVAC equipment.
