Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Fulfillment Specialist to manage and process customer orders efficiently. This role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment, coordinates with warehouse and shipping teams, and maintains inventory accuracy. Primary Duties / Responsibilities: to include, but not limited to the following:
- Process, pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Verify order accuracy by checking items, quantities, batches, and runs.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move and organize inventory.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and organizing materials, recording inventory locations, and reporting any shortages.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Lift and move heavy materials (up to 40 lbs.), operate a forklift/pallet jack, perform cycle counts, and use power tools to cut materials as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Inspect and receive materials into the system and warehouse.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Participate in physical inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Required Skills / Experience / Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Computer proficiency for inventory and order management systems.
Work Environment / Schedule: (as applicable)
Primary warehouse, and some shop environment with some computer interface. Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and carrying of product is required.
Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with some expanded schedules required for peak order fulfillment needs.
