About the Opportunity

As a Bar Manager with Vandelay, you’ll

be more than just a leader—you’ll be the driving force behind exceptional bar

experiences. In this dynamic role, you will shape and inspire a talented team,

creating an inviting and energetic atmosphere where guests and team members

alike can thrive. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily bar

operations, leading hiring and training efforts, maintaining an innovative

beverage program, and upholding the highest standards in service and safety.

Responsibilities

Craft unforgettable bar experiences by

exceeding guest expectations and demonstrating a true passion for hospitality

and mixology.

Lead by example, embodying Vandelay

Hospitality Group’s standards of excellence with a high-energy,

service-oriented approach.

Oversee bar operations, including

inventory management, ordering, and ensuring the highest quality beverage

offerings.

Develop and maintain an innovative,

profitable, and well-balanced beverage program that aligns with brand

standards.

Assist in interviewing, hiring,

training, and mentoring bartenders and bar support staff.

Ensure proper beverage preparation,

presentation, and service in accordance with company standards.

Conduct pre-shift meetings to

communicate key business updates and inspire a culture of hospitality.

Review reservations and coordinate

special occasions to ensure seamless execution of bar service.

Assist in managing staff schedules in

coordination with the General Manager.

Maintain strict adherence to all

alcohol service laws and safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with all local,

state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service, health, and safety.

Oversee reporting, documentation, and

administrative tasks required by the corporate office

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

required; Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant / Hospitality Management or

similar field of study strongly preferred

years of full-service bar or restaurant management experience preferred.

cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

    Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
