Responsibilities
- Craft unforgettable bar experiences by exceeding guest expectations and demonstrating a true passion for hospitality and mixology.
- Lead by example, embodying Vandelay Hospitality Group's standards of excellence with a high-energy, service-oriented approach.
- Oversee bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and ensuring the highest quality beverage offerings.
- Develop and maintain an innovative, profitable, and well-balanced beverage program that aligns with brand standards.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring bartenders and bar support staff.
- Ensure proper beverage preparation, presentation, and service in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate key business updates and inspire a culture of hospitality.
- Review reservations and coordinate special occasions to ensure seamless execution of bar service.
- Assist in managing staff schedules in coordination with the General Manager.
- Maintain strict adherence to all alcohol service laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service, health, and safety.
- Oversee reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks required by the corporate office
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant / Hospitality Management or similar field of study strongly preferred
