What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Culinary Team Member position at Drakes Catering?
Drakes started in 1997 as a fine-dining restaurant and in the early 2000s moved into becoming a full-time catering company. Drakes Catering is now one of the leading premier caterers of the Baton Rouge region. Drakes has provided food and beverage services for thousands of elegant, fun, and memorable events. This includes being the exclusive caterer to the Tiger Athletic Foundation for most of its premium seating areas in Tiger Stadium, Alex Box Stadium, and the PMAC. Drakes Catering is committed to providing tailored and quality food and exceptional service to events of all sizes such as weddings, corporate events, dinner parties, grand openings, and many other celebratory life events.
We are currently seeking EXPERIENCED cooks to add on to our team.
Experience in a fine-dining restaurant is preferable.
Pay starts at $15 and is based on experience.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years old or older
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Have reliable transportation
· Ability to lift 25 pounds
· Be able to walk or stand for extended period of time
· Excellent organizational skills
· Kitchen experience in the food industry
· Experience preparing high-volume food, preferred
· Adheres to all food, safety, and sanitation protocols and procedures
· Maintain work professionalism
· Possess excellent team-working abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
