Ensure electrical personnel are performing their jobs safely and correctly.
Ensure urgent failures are attended to and resolved swiftly.
Develop and manage a maintenance program that ensures electrical equipment is kept in good working condition.
Keep track of maintenance data/records to develop a useful history.
Provide technical knowledge to assist with new installations, equipment failures, and training.
Monitor daily activities and ensure that priorities are appropriately managed.
Utilize SAP for many essential job functions such as creating and managing work orders, tracking history, and parts management.
Coordinate shutdown planning and oversee the execution of shutdown work.
Analyze data to predict failures and identify root causes.
Research and purchase parts required for maintenance, upgrades, repairs, replacements, etc.
Utilize computer software to program, troubleshoot, and maintain various electrical equipment.
Convey necessary directives and information from management.
Work with the Planner to create and update the daily work schedules.
Review and update manuals, drawings, bill of materials, and library regularly.
Ensure that required quarterly/annual inspections and calibrations are carried out correctly and on time.
Hold interviews with electrician candidates and make decisions about hiring.
Coordinate and manage contractor activities.
Other Duties as assigned.
Participate in the on-call rotation with the rest of the maintenance leadership team.
