Dram & Draught is a vibrant neighborhood craft cocktail and whiskey bar dedicated to delivering exceptional service and curated experiences to our patrons. Nestled in the heart of downtown Durham, we pride ourselves on our extensive selection of artisanal staff-created cocktails, 300 whiskeys, and above all high standards of hospitality. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team for all positions: Bartenders/Head Bartender, Servers, and Hosts.

Responsibilities:

Bartender:

• Create and serve a diverse range of classic and craft cocktails with precision and creativity.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques and be willing to learn more!
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, engaging with them to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and refine cocktail recipes and seasonal offerings.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.

Server:

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and courteous manner, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about our menu offerings.
• Take beverage orders accurately, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the bar staff.
• Deliver drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of service throughout the dining experience.
• Anticipate guests' needs and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the bar to ensure seamless communication and coordination of orders.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment -* preferred.*
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service techniques.-* preferred.*
• BARSMARTS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service preferred (for bartender position). - preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality. -* required.*
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. -* required.*
