Exciting New Role: Part-Time Theater Instructor/ Full-Time Summer Camp Instructor

At Drama Kids, our instructors are the backbone of our success, using theater as a platform to help kids develop confidence, communication skills, and creativity—all in a lively, professional setting.
Key Duties After School Drama Instructor:
- Teach 5-10 hours weekly, with classes primarily starting in the afternoons starting between around 1 pm to 3pm
- Deliver our internationally recognized curriculum, focusing on speech, movement, and acting
- Direct students through our exciting spring showcase play
- Participate in student showcases and performances
- Build strong connections with both students and parents
- Attend ongoing training sessions and monthly team meetings
Key Duties Summer Camp Instructor:
Are you passionate about working with kids and creating unforgettable summer experiences? We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Teacher to join our team! If you have prior experience in teaching or working at a summer camp, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Lead a variety of fun and educational activities for kids
- Foster a safe and supportive camp environment
- Be a positive role model and mentor for campers

Ideal Candidates Must:
- Have a passion for working with children!
- Have experience managing/directing children ages 5 to 12
- Have strong organizational and communication skills
- Have afternoon availability
- Have reliable transportation (not reliant on public transit or ride-sharing)
- Have a degree in theater or equivalent experience
- Be able to direct children ages 5 to 12 through a short play
- Be able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings
- Have a desire for a rewarding part-time role that makes a positive impact
