POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Stagehands lead the industry in the setup and strike of our core business, Pipe and Drape. Also, you will be required to work with and understand other related events equipment.

Drape Kings is a nationwide event services specializing in rental and manufacturing of pipe and drape equipment, as well as AV-Drop Modular Backdrop Systems, primarily for live events. Along with full-service installation, other theatricals include Kabuki Reveals, traveler tracks, Step and Repeats, event carpet, and many related scenic elements.
With the core business in the event pipe and drape arena, projects can range from basic drape masking to revealing a building facade. The more recent addition of the globally accepted AV-Drop System allows Drape Kings to offer complete event solutions. POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Stagehands lead the industry in the setup and strike of our core business, Pipe and Drape. Also, you will be required to work with and understand other related events equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use of all time keeping system & GeoTab
- Required to wear black pants or shorts and supplied shirt
- Proper and Safe installation of property including, Drape, carpet, rope / stanchions, AVD, and any additional items
- Care and proper maintenance of all gear and property
- Staff operation of Company vehicles applies to all vehicles leased or owned
- The safe operation of all vehicles including the use of Company owned GPS systems
- All vehicles are to be maintained in a clean fashion and returned to shop fueled
- All loads must be properly secured during transport
- The safe loading and unloading of all vehicles leased or owned
- the possession of a valid DOT Health Card, a plus
- Vehicle inspections prior to and post use of company vehicle
- Submission of all parking tickets to management
- Notification of management of all vehicle related citations
- Safe use of ladders, lifts, and any other applicable equipment
- Consistent and timely client communication including arrival times on job site
- Securing client signatures as it relates to the Royal Rules and client receipts
- Concise and relevant communication with office and operations personnel
- Occasional Warehouse work, including loading and unload vehicles, pull / pack of jobs laundry, folding and scanning of returning jobs.
- Event Experience is a must
- Must be able to lift up to 62 lbs.
- Theatrical, AV, Event Decor, Lighting and/or Sound backgrounds preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Experience driving trucks and sprinter vans a must
- Requires extremely flexible hours (“Event Hours” are necessary and applicable);
- Must be able to pass a stringent background check
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Patience, flexibility and the ability to work well within stressful situations
