Job Description Summary :
The Software Process Engineer builds relationships, bridges the gaps, integrates teams, and inspires creativity across teams. This person provides consulting on Dev / Sec / Ops for software teams. The software process engineer identifies key metrics to measure existing processes and implement improvements.
Job Description :
Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving issues.
- Leads and identifies improvements of manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.
- Ensures products meet the organizations and customers quality and product integrity requirements.
- Provides analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Leads a cross-function team in the determination of root cause of failures.
- Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
- Drive solutions to complex problems with limited direction
- Actively mentor less experienced engineers
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills / Abilities
Education
Requires a bachelor of Science degree an Engineering discipline.
Experience
Requires 5-7 years experience in quality engineering or other engineering role.
