Job Description Summary

Duties/Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan.
- Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
- Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
- Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex, industry and customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members. program leadership, and non-technical personnel
- Be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
Experience
Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
Additional Job Description
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with analytical methods, approaches, and data visualization.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Understanding of software development, simulation, dynamics, control theory, and hardware interfaces.
- Ability to reason about software designs given requirements and to formulate debugging strategies for complex systems.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or other simulation tools, C/C software development in Unix/Linux and Windows environments, Linux kernel development, and kernel drivers is also desired.
- Apply modeling and simulation skills including, but not limited to, Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) and Software in the Loop (SWIL) to perform virtual, functional, and physical integration of engineering designs
- Apply modeling and simulation skills including, but not limited to, Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) and Software in the Loop (SWIL) to perform testing of engineering designs at various levels of the engineering cycle.
