What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primavera Scheduler position at Draslovka?

Draslovka Mining Solutions facility located in Memphis Tennessee has a Primavera Scheduler position available. This individual would be responsible for entering and maintaining the detailed job plan data, (job steps, logic, resources, etc.) into Primavera Enterprise 6 to develop the TAR Master Schedule and capital projects.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Perform Turnaround and Capital Project Scheduling.
- Responsible for performing schedule analysis to ensure that the process and procedures detailed in the TAR Work Scheduling Process and projects have been applied.
- Adhere to Engineering and Projects (E&P) Segment financial, business and project processes.
- Provide all necessary schedules to ensure the development of proper estimates and cost forecasts within a project stage.
- Work with TAR Planner to develop the TAR schedule and logic path.
- Responsible for issuing the required schedule and resource reports from Primavera.
- Responsible for preparing and distributing the look-ahead reports for the daily scheduling
- Responsible for review, validation and entry of field provided schedule status updates.
- Responsible for performing required data queries and generation of the required reports to calculate process and performance Key Performance Indicators.
- Responsible for executing schedule what if scenarios, performing an analysis and reporting on the results.
- Work inside the existing Company WBS structure and interface with Integrated Field Schedule.
- Develop, maintain & periodically issue associated progress curves, completing estimates, earned value, etc.
- Mentor & coach others on schedule controls to aid project delivery.
- Perform other associated duties as assigned.
Qualifications
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- The candidate must understand basic Construction Management practices, the ability to utilize the tools that support this process.
- Past experience of performing project services or control functions.
- Experience working with small teams and contractors.
- Extensive experience with a scheduling tool (P3, P6, MS Projects, etc.).
- 5 to 7 years scheduling construction background (Mechanical emphasis or I&E).
- Computer literacy required (Word & Excel).
- Be able to lift 50lb, climb ladders and stairs for field walk downs
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
- Experience with Capital improvement projects
- SAP experience
