We are recruiting a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage technical efforts on a variety of heavy industrial projects for our client. In this role, you will plan, organize, and supervise teams of up to 25 engineers and designers. Your expertise in piping and mechanical equipment design will be instrumental in driving project success, ensuring efficiency, and fostering communication across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Leadership :
Develop, coordinate, and lead small-scale projects or one large, high-impact project.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client and company goals.
Supervise and mentor up to 25 engineers and designers to achieve project objectives.
Technical Excellence :
Provide expertise in piping and equipment design for heavy industrial projects.
Promote the use of standardized design data to improve efficiency across projects.
Ensure all project work adheres to technical standards, codes, and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication :
Facilitate inter-discipline communication to ensure seamless project execution.
Collaborate with the Chief Mechanical Engineer to plan manpower, budgets, and deliverables for proposals.
Participate in interdepartmental reviews to identify and mitigate potential challenges.
Strategic Contributions :
Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows and project outcomes.
Support business development efforts by providing technical input during the proposal stage.
Additional Qualifications :
Extensive experience managing mechanical engineering projects in the heavy industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems design.
Familiarity with design software and tools relevant to mechanical engineering.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
