This position will support production accounting efforts by maintaining data integrity, reconciling production volumes, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate data for production volume reporting and financial reconciliations using P2.
- Extract and analyze production data for operational decisions, royalty settlements, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain production accounting systems and support well and facility design setups.
- Reconcile daily and monthly production volumes to support accounting accruals, revenue distribution, and cost allocations.
- Assist with gas gathering, gas lift activities, and oil statement reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in volume allocations.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of production data.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations.
Required:
- 3 years of experience in production accounting or analysis within upstream oil gas.
- Proficiency in P2 and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Competitive salary: $83,500 - $132,400 annually (based on experience).
