What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at DRB Group?
Job Purpose
The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the staffing of community model homes. In addition, you will provide support in the absence of the Sales Consultant and greet visitors to demonstrate the home and its features. You will also be responsible for providing general information to model home customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekend work may be required
- Staffing the model home office
- Handling telephone inquiries
- Generating appointments from walk-in customers, realtors, and telephone inquiries
- Greeting customers
- Demonstrating model homes, explaining their features, and highlighting benefits
- Providing customers with general information on price ranges, specific models, options, mortgage rates, and other relevant details as directed by the Sales Consultant
- Sharing knowledge about the community and surrounding area
- Inspecting grounds and models for maintenance issues
- Ensuring model homes are clean and well-maintained
- Performing other duties assigned by management

Desired Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- Experience in New Home Sales, Property Management, Leasing, or High-End Retail sales with a focus on excellent customer satisfaction
- Real Estate license (may be required for advancement to a Sales Associate or Sales Consultant role)
- High School diploma or equivalent
