As a member of the leadership team, the VP of Manufacturing will be responsible and accountable for the strategic vision of our manufacturing process. This role will be pivotal in aligning all aspects of manufacturing with company and customer expectations in a rapid-growth, multi-site, ETO/MTO manufacturing environment. This newly created position will leverage historic experience, creativity and problem-solving to identify and address challenges associated with significant, multi-year growth.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Experience in a rapid-growth environment (25%-40% growth year-over-year) with multiple sites and plant shifts. Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field. 10 years in a strategic leadership role, in a multi-site, ETO/MTO manufacturing environment. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- LMA (Lead, Manage, hold Accountable) manufacturing, maintenance, and continuous improvement leadership.
- Strengthen the team, provide coaching and mentor for promotion and succession of existing personnel. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Uphold and foster DRC’s core values throughout the organization: 1) Have a Can-Do Attitude, 2) Do the Right Thing, 3) Be a Problem Solver and 4) Put the Customer First.
- P&L ownership and accountability for all facets of manufacturing.
- Protect and promote DRC culture in all interactions.
- Establish and implement short and long-term strategic vision in manufacturing (facilities/equipment/headcount) to support rapid-growth environment.
- Ownership and oversight of master production schedule.
- Change agent that will expand and maintain best-in-class manufacturing practices.
- Make time-sensitive transactional decisions with limited information, typically encountered with machine-down scenarios.
- Lead by example and champion 6S and LEAN culture.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Accomplish responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm with additional hours as necessary.
- Ability to drive between five local manufacturing facilities (three in Melrose Park and two in Elk Grove Village) to perform duties. Clean driving record required.
