Job Description: As an Inventory Control Specialist at DRC Industries, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure that the production demands are met efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with other departments to optimize inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to meet production demands.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; some college coursework preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field preferred.
- Experience using QuickBooks or other inventory management systems highly preferred.
